Over the years I’ve made just about every type of bag possible…velco, zippered, etc…but one type I tend to forget about is drawstring bags. However a couple of weeks ago I needed to make something for a young boy and realized a drawstring bag would be perfect for him! He could put some of his toys in it and not have to worry about zipping and unzipping it. So I made a TMNT bag for him!
While making the bag I tried to remember if I had a tutorial on a fully lined drawstring bag. I checked when I got home and I hadn’t done one. So I whipped up another bag and turned it into a tutorial for you all.
I had a little light-bulb moment while I was making this bag because I didn’t have a safety pin. I ended up borrowing a pin from a friend I was crafting with and used it to feed the drawstring through. I did a little quick tip video showing how it is done in case anyone else is ever in a bind.
