Thank you so much for this tutorial. I am actually making Victorian type caps. They are like yours but have a floppy crown and a wider band. I had everything cut out from a pattern I’d used before, but couldn’t figure out how to put the pieces together, especially the brim. Not only was I able to finish the caps, after following your instructions, but I also used your pattern piece as it was a better fit than the one on the manufactured pattern. Thanks again. 🙂
